Maria burst onto the Vancouver television scene in 1980 as host of Vancouver Morning, a daily, hour-long talk show. Her success led to a promotion to prime time – as co-host of the station’s flagship show Vancouver where she remained until 1987. Maria became a familiar face and household name to the Vancouver audience . For two hours – live– five nights a week she shared the stage with co-hosts Wayne Cox, Laurier Lapierre, Bob Spence. |

For 8 years Maria was Family Columnist for CBC Television network’s daily newsmagazine program Midday. Each week she appeared on this national television program addressing issues related to Families. Maria also filled in as guest host for Valerie Pringle when she was on vacation. |

Before The View, there was In the Company of Women – the CBC network television program hosted by three dynamic women. Maria LeRose was co-producer and co-host . This was a talk show that celebrated the art of conversation among the best talkers in the world — women. The series ran for three seasons. |

Canadian Inflight
Maria traveled the world as co-host of Canadian Airline’s in-flight video series Canadian Inflight. Along with Citytv’s senior anchor Gord Martineau, Maria journeyed to China, South America, Fiji, Europe and several North American cities to showcase Canadian Airline destinations. |
